Do you know how to dominate your local market?  Better yet, do you know WHY you should dominate your local market?

Any transcription business will benefit from dominating their local market. Dominating one's local market means more leads and prospects (potential paying customers) and better transcribers for your transcription business.

Google Local helps in dominating local market in the search engines ie Google.

It also helps brand visibility and accessibility.

Killing Two birds in One Stone
  • It's a free marketing and lead generation tool to promote your transcription business locally so you get more queries and leads and of course, paying customers.
  • Google Local is also a free recruitment tool.  Job-seekers in your local area will easily find you without the hassle of you looking and searching for them.
But, our customers are not local?  Even if your customers are overseas Google Local should help you find prospective employees. You will dominate the local employment market and therefore get the best employees available.  Don't ever underestimate the value of excellent transcribers - they make or break a transcription company.  Transcription business tip:  Get a business address in the foreign market and list your company over there to get more customers and dominate the local transcription services market.

  6. On the next screen, confirm your listing by clicking on the correct address.
  7. Additional Data form: Enter in your business hours of operation, payment options, photos, and video. Photos: it is helpful to add your company logo or a nice headshot of you. Please be sure it is a professional photo that meets Google’s requirements.  Additional Data: You may want to input things like Additional Services: translation, virtual assistant, etc if you provide these services.
  8. Confirmation Page: Confirm your listing information, and choose your phone as the verification message. Important Note: A Google rep will call you almost immediately to verify the information you provided is accurate, and you are a real person with a real business. Make sure the phone is nearby!
