Adapt vs Adopt

Adapt vs Adopt
Adapt – To adjust to different conditions.
Eg: This is a species that has adapted well to winter climes.


Adopt – To choose, to accept, to take and follow.

Eg: The teachers of primary school have adopted a new style of teaching math.
